Peter's dinner at the Osborns did not go well. Norman is back, and demanding control over Peter, threatening both May and Mary Jane if he doesn't comply. He gets home and tries dealing with this when Gwen Stacy shows up unannounced, knocking on the door to his cellar at 11:00pm. He and May entertain her until John Stacy arrives, but neither has had much sleep before school the next day. Peter tries to fill Mary Jane in on what's been going on, when he is called to talk to the school counsellor. To his surprise, the counsellor is completely aware of his abilities, as well as Norman Osborn's.
