A pair of small time East End dealers, Jack Smyth and Billy Armstrong, are playing a new game when Catwoman bursts in with Hammer and Sickle, to put them out of business. But Catwoman won't allow the Russians to murder them. A kid reports this to Holly; that Catwoman is again a villain. Holly goes to check and Catwoman confirms it, which leads to an argument. Catwoman heads outside and sees Smart Bomb, whom she does not know is Sam Bradley Jr, fly by. At an antique shop, Hugo Strange and Hammer search for a book; Hammer is offended by a Stalin pincushion and murders the owner. Smart Bomb decides to carve out a piece of the East End and regards Hammer as a suitable starting point, which leads Strange to recruit him. Catwoman discovers the body of the antiques dealer and is upset; Todd Russell meets here there and offers her help with a plan. Somewhat later, Catwoman and Cheetah race the rooftops. Cheetah fails to understand Catwoman's lack of killer instinct; Catwoman fails to understand how Cheetah can dismiss her humanity so readily. Cheetah runs into Batman's fist; the Bat wants a conversation...
