Civil War
This issue is really a collection of stories under a single title. In the first, Michael Pointer (aka The Collective from New Avengers 16-20) is given a chance at redemption after what Xorn made him do. His redeemer is Sasquatch, who was previously assumed dead after the Collective's attack, and who is now forming Omega Flight in Canada. The second story shows the latest incarnation of the Hurricane trying to run. He's an unregistered hero, and is brought in with extreme (but barely nonlethal) prejudice by the new Thunderbolts. The third story involves a meeting between Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman, in which Ms. Marvel convinces Spider-Woman that Captain America is alive and protected within the Raft. This plot thread would be picked up by later issues of "New Avengers" and "Fallen Son" alike. The comic then concludes with preview pages from issues of Iron Man: Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Mighty Avengers, Captain America, Omega Flight, and Avengers: The Initative.
