Despite a little dissension in the ranks, Excalibur resolves to travel into the past, to the days of Camelot, in order to prevent it from falling prematurely. The Lady in the Lake transports them in time to preven the assasination of Merlin by a flight of Dragons, though Dragons are by nature solitary creatures. Having prevented his death, and with Merlin's aid the Dragons are thwarted and the team retires to Camelot.Arthur gives a feast to honor Camelot's saviors, even knowing that tomorrow is the day that Camelot will be attacked. As the team adjusts to finding themselves in medeival England, one of Arthur's scouts discovers the dragons' lair.
