Luke and Danny break up a bank robbery, but it's a trap! The employees gas them, and when Danny recovers, Luke is gone. Danny, Misty, Colleen and D. W. search. Danny discovers Bushmaster's involvement from bank papers, and then Luke's prison through a ruse. Boarding Bushmaster's yacht, he discovers an experimental tank containing Luke and smashes it with the Iron Fist! Luke is free, but Bushmaster reaches for the switch that will kill his hostage... and stops... his fatal transformation complete, Bushmaster has become metal! Danny rescues Noah, leaving Luke behind. Men shoot at Luke... and hurt him! That shouldn't be possible! He pitches off the side of the boat into the river... Aboard the yacht, Bushmaster's metal form crumbles...
