Description
Death March
Possessing the bodies of the dead and dying, the Four Horsemen contact each other and head for a rendezvous. Mr Terrific is contacted by Batman who downloads information on the previous incarnations of the Horsemen including schematics of their Oolong Island designed armour. On Oolong Island itself, Dr. Mortis is removed by Dr. Veronica Cale from the head of the project to find a way to defeat the Horsemen and replaced with IQ, Ira Quimby. Dr. Cale contacts the Calculator and bargains with him for information from any source concerning the Horsemen. Baron Bug offers her remote controlled surveillance drones to track the events in Bialya. Batman and Superman find the dead Bialyans marching to a central plain where they appear to be building a nest within which the Horsemen are being clothed in new bodies made of flesh and mechanics. As the Horsemen use insects and rats to attack the heroes, Superman launches an attack on the nest but is felled. Before serious harm can be done to him, Wonder Woman flies in and pulls him out. The three heroes convene and Wonder Woman tells them of her run in with Veronica Cale and how she is determined to destroy the Horsemen; the three of them agree that aiding Cale is the smartest thing to do. They are unaware that they are being watched by Snapper Carr.
