In a jam-packed Summer Spectacular, Deadpool and the GLI team up to bring us the following stories: Squirrel Girl, after realizing the fate of Speedball, the first man she ever kissed, goes on a quest to redeem Speedball from becoming Penance and joining the Thunderbolts. When AIM captures the drunken god, Dionysus, they focus his divine emanations into an intoxication wave that sweeps over the Earth and all of it's heroes. Only Deadpool and the Great Lakes Initiative are available to save the day, because Deadpool's healing factor prevents the intoxication from taking hold of his brain, and nobody thought about calibrating the wave to affect the GLI. In a desperate attempt to get Deadpool out of their new headquarters, the GLI prod Big Bertha into inviting Deadpool out on a date. But how will a night on the town go with the merc with a mouth? Flatman attempts to provide Deadpool with a bill of the expenses that the Great Lakes Initiative are incurring for having invited him to be a reserve member. Does anybody think Deadpool's going to pay?
