Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, and Luke Cage come to "the Raft," a high security prison designed to hold supervillains. This happens to be the same day that Electro is hired by persons unknown to break all of the supervillains out of said prison. Electro manages to do so, leaving the island covered with escaped supervillains, none of whom will be friendly to Matt, Foggy, Luke, Jessica Drew (a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent), Sentry (a hero imprisoned for killing his wife), Spider-Man or Captain America (both of whom showed up when they saw the explosion Electro caused.)
