Description
War
The Silver Surfer and Mantis interrogate the defeated Obliterator to learn of the Elders' plan, to discover the goal is to kill Galactus, thus upsetting the cosmic balance and destroying the Universe. Now immune to death, the Elders will survive into the next reality, and serve as a race similar to Galactus himself. They head off in the direction of Earth to stop the Elders at their next meeting. Meanwhile, the Kree attack the Skrull fleet, only to have their attack plan fail due to a traitor in their midst. The Supremor deduces that the traitor is the creature who maintains his circuits and kills him, not knowing that Nenora (whom he promotes to that position) is also a Skrull agent. Nenora suggests recruiting neutral worlds to their cause, and the Supremor agrees. The next such world they approach is Zenn-La, causing Shalla-Bal to recall Silver Surfer to make good on his promise of protection.
