Pete is not coping with his breakup with Mary Jane very well, and does some serious damage to the basement. In the process, he reveals boxes of memorabilia and such that were left to him by his parents. In them he finds a video of a picnic shared by his family and the Brocks. Pete decides to look Eddie Brock, Jr. up, and learns that he's studying bioengineering with the hopes of forwarding the research Ray Parker and Eddie Brock Sr. were working on.
