It is a period of unrest. Darth Vader has tracked his son, the rebel pilot Luke Skywalker, to the planet Vrogas Vas. After Vader has defeated several rebel squadrons, Luke forces both Vader and himself to crash-land. Meanwhile, Princess Leia and Han Solo are with the rebel fleet when they hear the news of Vader being stranded planetside. Leia, deciding this is their only chance to finally destroy Vader once and for all, sends all rebel reinforcements, leaving Han on his own to rescue Luke. While exploring the planet, Luke comes across an old and abandoned Jedi temple. When he investigates the ruins, what appears to be a familiar golden portocol droid turns out to be none other than Vader's ally Triple-zero in disguise....
