Damage spends time alone because if his emotions run too hot he can lose control of his powers and hurt people. But among his neighbors are some Indians, and they have a ghost problem, so he calls the Titans. Only Jesse responds at first; she and Grant see people from their past who assure them they are loved. But these assurances ring hollow since Grant and Jesse both understand that the people they're seeing wouldn't say these things. So what are they seeing? Meanwhile, the Titans clean up the wreckage of their base and Tempest gains new insight about Arsenal's long ago struggle with drug addiction, thanks to his own episode caused by the Hypoman [previous issues]. Nightwing realizes that Jesse hasn't checked in, and gathers the Titans to travel to her last known location. And in the desert, the ghosts resolve themselves into... what, exactly?
