Broke and back in the USA, Major Disaster and Big Sir stumble across an advert for Club JLI. Max Lord, Martian Manhunter and Batman also see the advert, prompting Max to discover Blue Beetle and Booster Gold have raided the League's funds to pay for their holiday resort on Kooeykooeykooey. Major Disaster and Big Sir arrive at the resort and head for the casino to capitalise on Big Sir's idiot savant gift of memorising playing cards. Aquaman arrives on the island and speaks to the Chief of the islanders, while Disaster and Big Sir clean up at the casino just as Aquaman tells Beetle and Booster that everyone on the island has to leave. Before they can, however, the island - which turns out to be alive - shakes free of its moorings and heads out into the ocean.
