Description
Crisis On Infinite Earths - The Long Road Home
Steel wakes in an apparently alien land where the moon is visibly damaged and he is attacked by giant insects. The insects turn out to be under the control of a woman, Olanda, who takes him to her father. Before they get there, they are attacked by a robot sent by The Six who have observed Steel's appearance. In the JLA Detroit headquarters, Commander Steel wakes and asks to speak to Steel but is told that during the Crisis that is affecting everything, Steel has vanished. Steel, meanwhile, is brought to health by Olanda and her father but reacts strangely when he tells her he is a member of the League. Olanda's father informs him that Steel has travelled through a time-warp caused by the Crisis, but before he can explain further, their home is attacked by robots commanded by The Six which are defeated by Steel. Olanda's father reveals himself to be the Lord of Time and that The Six are clones of himself who rebelled against his rule. Steel finds and battles the Six, capturing the Chrono-Cube and letting the Lord of Time use it to un-make The Six so that they never existed.
