Grasp Of The Killer Cult When a series of strange murders happen, where men with clean records suddenly strangle their victims to death, Batman is called in by Commissioner Gordon to investigate. The case also attracts the attention of Jim Corrigan, who feels a super-natural force drawing his Spectre persona. As Corrigan he tries to get in on the case, telling Gordon and Batman that all the murders are copy-cats of the Thuggies of India. With the help of the Spectre, Batman learns that each of the men were in the military during World War II as a group called the Dirty 'Dozers, a road building crew that helped build roads in India for the war effort. As Batman tracks down this groups meeting place as worshipers of Kali the Indian goddess, the Spectre learns that the men bulldozed over an ancient Thuggee cemetery, and have been possessed by the spirits of the men buried there. Learning the truth, the Spectre rushes back to the States where he saves Batman by posing as the goddess Kali and convincing the spirits to leave the bodies of the men. After the battle, them men return to normal, however are fully aware of the crimes they committed while under the control of the Thuggee spirits, as such they willingly turn themselves over to the authorities hoping that justice will be fair to them.

The Dimensional Caper! The Teen Titans are called into the town of Highsdale where Highsdale High student Chet Walters has asked the Titans to come help him. Landing on the school roof top they spy into the school and see that Chet is in a meeting with his principal and father. They are disciplining him about his claims of beings from another dimension that has made him a laughing stock at school and around town. When they suggest that Chet be taken off to be examined at a professional clinic, the teen freaks out and escapes the room by smashing out a window and running away. As Chet flees he tries to get the help of his girl Sally, who shuns him just as his classmates jeer at him. Having witnessed his escape the Titans send Wonder Girl to collect him and take him back to the rest of the Titans to find out what's going on. Chet tells them how one night he was dared to paint the class year on the town water tower and when he did so he touched one of the rivets on the tower, this caused him to be transported to another dimension that was filled with hostile creatures armed with ray guns. Fearing that the boy would warn the Earth of their impending invasion the creatures would chase Chet until he was suddenly transported back to Earth, he's been trying to warn people ever since. Deciding to investigate the matter, the Titans have Chet take them to the water tower and when Robin touches the same rivet the Teen Titans and Chet are all transported to Dimension X where they find that Chet's claims were very true. Their fight takes them all across the replica of Chet's school that the aliens have created to train in. Fighting the creatures in the halls, the library and the boiler room. Ducking into the science wing, they learn that Chet's principal Mr. Downs is really the leader of the invasion. With the dimensional transport device nearby, Robin sends Kid Flash to manipulate it's controls at super speed, causing both dimension to slowly merge into sync. With the student body of Highsdale and the aliens all existing in the same location, the Teen Titans fight off the invaders. During the fight, Chet gets in a struggle with Principal Downs, and during the struggle Downs' ray gun blasts the dimensional transport. This causes the aliens and Chet to be shunted back to Dimension X and the Titans back to Earth. Rushing back to the water tower to go back to Dimension X and save Chet, the Titans arrive just in time to see it detonated. In order to save Chet, the Titans send Kid Flash to breach the dimensional barriers and save the boy from the aliens, a task which Kid Flash succeeds at. Later, the Titans explain everything to Chet's father and the people of Highsdale commend Chet and the Teen Titans as heroes.

Knight For A Day! While returning to the castle with a steed that had run off, Brian Kent sights Lady Celia, the young woman he had rescued from the forest, being thrown off her horse into the moat that was filled with savage fish. He wastes no time in rescuing her, riding the steed into the moat and using his training blade to keep the fish away. Despite having previously saved her as the Silent Knight, to protect his identity Brian acts as though this was their first meeting. Celia is charmed by the knight apprentice and, in a sign of admiration, asks him to wear her scarf for his first jousting tournament. As the lady Celia returns to her chambers, Brian notices Sir Oswald Bane watching him with interest. Bane informs him that he saw his daring rescue of the damsel, and invites him to a joust out in the field. Before Brian can reply, however, his trainer Sir Grot interjects, telling Bane that Brian's clumsiness likely caused him to fall into the lake by accident, calling the rescue a lucky fluke. Grot and Bane share a laugh at Brian's expense. In the hawk stables, Brian talks to his silent hawk friend, Slasher, about his troubles with Sir Grot. He doesn't understand why his late father's best friend would continuously insult his talent in front of Sir Bane. Later that day, Brian watches from the ramparts the departing figures of Sir Bane and Lady Celia with some guards. His heart aches with Celia's departure. Sir Grot comes to him bearing a message from Bane, to deliver the Sun Ruby to Duncan's castle, which lies beyond the Forest Perilous. Grot worries for his apprentice's safety, but Brian brushes him off coldly, not believing his sudden act of concern after he had put him down earlier. Grot replies that someday Brian will understand why he must act that way in front of Sir Oswald Bane. As Brian travels through the forest, the ruby tucked away in his pouch, he is ambushed by a pack of bandits that demand he hand over the gem! One bandit prepares to fire an arrow at Brian, but then Slasher, Brian's noble hawk friend, claws the bandit's bow away. Brian takes cover in the treetops, the leaf branches protecting him from the bandits arrows. Slasher finds him leads away from the bandits below, Brian follows his friend to a spot in the tree branches where the Silent Knights armor hung, placed there by an unknown hand. Donning the armor and equipping himself with the sword and shield, Brian continued through the forest until he reached a bridge guarded by soldiers. They challenge him immediately, in his silence, Brian fights back, his superior sword skills dispatching one man, and then ramming into another. The third grips him from behind, so Brian throws himself and the man over the bridge into the murky river depths. He swings with his sword until he can no longer feel the blade connecting, and then pulls himself to the surface where Slasher was waiting. Brian thanks his friend and removes his Silent Knight guise to return to his regular apprentice clothing. At Sir Duncan's castle later, during a feast, Sir Oswal Bane is amazed that Brian made it through the forest with only a few nicks and scratches. Not wishing to reveal himself, less Bane guess his other identity, Brian replies that he simply got lost after falling off his horse, and somehow stumbled his way out by accident.

In The Coils Of Copperhead! While Batman is otherwise busy stopping crooks making off with an armored truck, the evil Copperhead has disguised himself as a poor man in order to get close enough to a visiting monarch in order to steal her tiara. When Batman finally tries to stop Copperhead he is too late. With his reputation on the line, Batman vows to somehow deal with Copperhead. Devising a plan, Batman sets up an electronic beam alarm to protect the Golden Casque of Montezuma. However, as he is setting this up, both Wonder Woman and Batgirl appear over the city writing messages of love to Batman before getting into a scrap over who is worthy of the Caped Crusaders affections. Stopping the two from quarreling they both agree to a contest to decide which of the two are worthy of Batman's love. As the event is televised Copperhead figures this is the best time to strike. While the two women try to win Batman's favor with various gifts, Copperhead sends up a common hood to check out the alarm to see if Batman is faking. When the first attempt doesn't cause Batman to run to the scene of the crime, Copperhead realizes that it's probably safe to steal the casque since Batman is otherwise predisposed. However, when Copperhead goes to steal it, it turns out that the whole spectacle put on by Wonder Woman and Batgirl was all a ruse organized by Batman to get Copperhead to come out of hiding. When the next attempt to capture Copperhead fails, Batgirl and Wonder Woman both realize that they're really in love with Batman which starts the whole argument all over again. When the two leave their secret identities hidden in Gotham Park for Batman to find, Copperhead learns of the location and seeks to get the identities himself, but ends up capturing Wonder Woman instead. Tracking Copperhead to his lair, Batman and Batgirl manage to find him and after battling the foe, they defeat him. The women then reconcile their feelings for Batman and depart after Copperhead is turned over to the police.
