In a secure location, the acting Commander in Chief of the US military prepares a final sanction to deal not only with the Plutonian, but with the other superhumans as well. In taking control of the Paradigm, Charybdis causes a schism within it. When he attempts to kill Encanta, calling her a 'distraction', Qubit flees with her through a portal to one of his own personal sanctuaries. His Modeus-robots lead him to her, and he's still convinced that Encanta is the best lead to finding the one villain the Plutonian feared.
