The various knuckles of the gauntlet are each mounted with a different kind of Kryptonite.The natives are restless at an outpost in the Vegan star system, as refugees beg, implore and demand that Pope Lobo of the Church of the Triple Fish God do something to ease the outpost's seismic issues. But when a plague of interstellar carrion eaters descends on the outpost, even Lobo is hard pressed to stay alive.
