Captain America's anti-registration forces are dealt a punishing blow as Thor has apparently joined Iron Man's forces. They are only saved by the intervention of Susan Richards, who throws up a force field to protect them from Thor's lightning after the thunder god killed Goliath in battle.Heroes are leaving both sides after the battle. Some don't have the heart to continue fighting other heroes, while others feel that perhaps they aren't on the right side of the conflict. Spider-Man is much more withdrawn than normal, and is seen almost conspiring with Mary Jane and Aunt May.But though they've lost a few heroes, Captain America's forces are growing, and he has never been more determined to put a stop to tyranny than he is to oppose Iron Man. Tony has to come up with more forces if he's going to win the Civil War... but who can he turn to when the Heroes have all chosen their sides already?
