Description
The Parallel Perils Of Adam Strange
After defeating a mad scientist in New Guinea, the League are surprised to find a wall painting of Adam Strange being struck by a Zeta Beam. As they discuss it, they are each struck by the beams and transported to Rann. As they head for the city of Ranagar, an enormous gun materializes in the sky and blasts them. Adam Strange arrives and attempts to deactivate the gun but to no avail. Finally defeating the gun, Adam Strange tells the League that his sweetheart, Alanna, has been killed. The League wonder how they came to be on Rann only to be told by Sardath, Alanna's father, that someone had broken into his laboratory and sent the beams to bring the Leaguers across space. Kanjar-Ro, an old adversary of the League, watches them via a monitor and reveals himself to be behind the menaces that are troubling Rann, releasing another to combat the League.Managing to defeat the new peril, another rises in its place and appears to destroy the members of the League, forcing Adam Strange to return to Earth to contact the remaining Leaguers.
