Shuffle and Deal... With Death
While testing Firestorm's abilities at sea, Aquaman and he are attacked by a new Royal Flush Gang and only manage to escape with the aid of some dolphins. Ten and Jack head to the new headquarters of the gang and report to the others about their encounter with Aquaman and Firestorm with Ten being cautious about their success while Jack is more cocky. As they report, Jack thinks back to how the four of them, including Queen, were all down on their luck before the mysterious Ace recruited them. Later, King attacks and subdues Wonder Woman before reporting back to Ace as Jack watches from the shadows and sees Ace not only revealed as a robot but as one who reports to a "Wild Card" who recommends that once the League are destroyed, the Royal Flush Gang are eliminated also.
