The Skrull armada has reached San Fransisco, expecting nominal resistance. Their intelligence seems to be out of date, however, as the X-Men are here and quite willing to resist. The Skrulls lost ground at first, but the plans to deal with the X-Men have been made, and implementation begins quite quickly.
