Are you still offering free shipping?
YES! We definitely still offer free shipping, the process did change slightly to incorporate our new Loyalty program, but basically you can redeem points from products purchased to get your free shipping.
Why did you change the free shipping to loyalty points?
One of the most common questions we get asked is "how much is in my holds box?" or "how much have I spent towards the free shipping?" and it's a pain staking process to calculate this for everyone. This way you now know exactly how much you have spent and can use it towards whichever shipping method works for you.
ALSO, we wanted to be able to offer rewards to those that shop with us in person or pickup online orders, so you can now redeem your points for discounts.
LASTLY, having a rewards program like this opens up a whole new door of options for sales and gifts!
Is there a limit to the free shipping?
Though we don't like to set strict limits, we do have to limit the free shipping to the maximum size box we are able to use, which is about 4kg or 100 comics. If you are unsure how large your holds box has become please contact us and we can let you know. In cases where this limit has been reached, we would have to create a second order to complete the shipping amount.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! We are proud to say that we now offer same day delivery using Always OT delivery service. Any qualifying orders placed by 9AM (Monday - Friday not including holidays) will be eligible for same day delivery at a flat rate of $8.00.
What is the delivery zone?
Delivery is available from Hamilton to Oshawa, and from Toronto to Newmarket. For a full list please enter your postal code at checkout and select "Delivery" to see if your area is covered.
What is your return policy?
We want to make sure you are happy with your purchase, if for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, or it has been damaged on arrival, take a picture and contact us, we would be glad to work something out.
If you would like a refund for a book that you have on hold including new releases, there will be a 10% restocking fee.
No refunds on pre-orders after the FOC (unless there has been a major change in the title).
If your order is returned to us for any reason and requires it to be reshipped, we can gladly do this at your expense. No refunds will be given on orders that are returned to us. No exceptions.
What type of grading system do you use?
Grading is a very difficult system to manage, even on a professional level the same comic can come back with different grades from different people. That being said, we try our best to grade things fairly and note any specific defects (pen marks, water damage, folds, etc) but we are not perfect and things get missed. Please refer to the high resolution scans for each book to determine the grade. As a standard, we use this scale:
- Near Mint (NM)
- Very Fine (VF)
- Fine (FN)
- Very Good (VG)
- Good (GD)
- Fair (FA)
- Poor (PO)
Do you grade and scan all your books?
We grade and scan all back issues that come through, however we do not grade and scan any new release books from Diamond/Lunar/Penguin. For these we use stock images but can't guarantee a specific grade, though we try not to release anything lower than a 9.0.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Yes! We ship to select countries around the world, if you are international and would like to place an order but the checkout doesn't allow you, send us a note and we will gladly open up ordering for your country.
Do you have a physical store?
Yes we do! Located at 88 Cawthra Ave in Toronto, open Wednesday - Sunday 12-6.
I'm local, can I pickup instead of shipping?
Yes! Of course! Select local pickup while checking out and stop by the shop Wednesday - Sunday 12-6.
Do you buy/trade comics?
Yes we do! If you have a collection or key you want to sell/trade, contact us with pictures and pricing so we can work something out. We always offer more in trade than we do cash!

Some products may show availability at the time of upload but changes at a later date, in these cases we may have to cancel the order.
Any orders that are cancelled are refunded in full.
