A Penny For Jackie Johnson
A battle hardened vet named Sharkey joins Easy Co. However, Sharkey is a racist who takes an immediate dislike to Jackie Johnson. Although the men of Easy try to set Sharkey straight, he is set in his way and pitches Jackie a penny as he might a street beggar. Jackie keeps the penny and continues to try to change Sharkey's attitude. When Sharkey is wounded, Jackie, who is also wounded, saves him from certain death. As they recouperate Sharkey finally sees Jackie for the man he is and Jackie returns the penny which Sharkey gladly accepts in friendship.
