Citizen Kang: Part 1 of 4 - Captain America investigates the disappearance of the vision, who went to Timely, Wisconsin to investigate a part in him that couldn't have been built in 1939. When Cap enters a wrong door at Timely Industries, he finds himself thrown into Chronopolis, Kang's super-city, where each street leads to a different timeline. Unable to return through the door which he entered, Cap ventures toward the citadel at the center of the city, and, along the way, wanders down the street leading to ancient Cimmeria - and loses sight of the citadel! In Cimmeria, Cap encounters - and battles - a barbarian horde, rescues a fair maiden, and encounters a younger version of a future Avenger - Gilgamesh! Meanwhile, the Vision is brought before Kand; Cap makes his way toward Olympia in hopes of finding Sersi; and Dr. Druid is contacted by Ravonna.
