Description
You Don't Have To Go Home, But You Can't Stay Here
Catwoman robs a museum featuring the "Art of the Cat". Batman, of course, appears to stop her. And she tosses in a grenade; he can either preserve the museum treasures, or catch her! So begins a chase... At a society event, the Mayor has recovered, more or less, from the Scarecrow's toxin. Detectives Belivell and Marchak can't get in to see him; they're in a bad odor because they let the Scarecrow reach him. But they know the Mayor has hired a professional - Deathstroke must raise capital and a quick trip to Gotham and a single shot should do that. Deathstroke has tagged the piece Catwoman stole and is following her that way. Batman's just following her. They reach a building, the site of an early attempt by the Gotham Police to kill Batman. Catwoman wants to find out who each of them is away from Gotham; no need to stop their respective lifestyles. She explains that she'll be Sao Paulo the next day. Deathstroke can't shoot both of them, and knows if he shoots one the other will be trouble. So he waits, and when she leaps away, approachs in his copter. He severs her whip and she falls. Batman's coming after him, though. Selina staggers away and Deathstroke sees her, and shoots a fuel truck! In the aftermath, seventy-two people are injured and Catwoman is apparently dead...
