Description
1st Kitty Pryde, Emma Frost
God Spare the Child ...
Picking up the pieces after the battle with Proteus, the X-Men leave Muir Island and head back to the Mansion. There they find Professor X has returned, and he immediately moves to training the team in his fashion. The training is cut short when two new mutants are detected. Jean and Scott head to Chicago to track down one, while the Professor takes Colossus, Storm and Wolverine to meet the one named Katherine Pryde. The machinations of the Hellfire Club, however, are getting in the way; not only is Jason Wyngarde manipulating Jean without her knowledge, but Emma Frost beats the X-Men to Kitty, and later captures the X-Men without realizing that Kitty is stowing away to track down their captors.
