Mr. Sinister's Marauders and the mutant-hating Purifiers.The X-Men move to confront the Marauders, but in the ensuing battle they learn that Sinister does not have the child. Rictor, now a baseline human, has infiltrated the Purifiers only to learn that they do not have the baby either. Someone with knowledge of what was about to happen managed to beat both groups to Cooperstown.
