Description
Chemical World, Chemical World part 3
The Others Brothers may have a cure for Tempest, but they are strange - so they may not. On Arctor, Hallucinatra reveals that Credulin, given to the Titans, drove them to seek out Garvan and to attack each other. But Argent was immune thanks to taking Apex, and Nightwing was immune thanks to his antidote to the Scarecrow's fear toxin - blood work he'd done on Argent revealed that answer. Then Garvan and his Favored appear, and he reveals that he'd created a chemically enhanced world. But this infrastructure was a path to the pharmocracy run by Hallucinatra and others, that addicted the population to narcotics. Now, Garvan has an answer, a canister of cleansing chemicals. Thanks to an informant, Hallucinatra finds and murders him before he can deploy it. The Titans, concerned for the people of Earth, plan to leave. But Arsenal, once a drug addict, can't leave it there. A well-placed shot shatters the cleansing canister. Now, the planet will eventually detoxify. On Earth, Tempest wakes up and his first question is about the safety of the Titans, causing Dolphin to flee the room, weeping.
