Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, fueled by the energies of creation itself have pierced the wall of energy that has surrounded Europe. The Justice League and Justice Society flock to their aid only to find that while these three may have once been their companions, their recent experiences have left them changed. At Castle Branek, Morgaine Le Fay, Enigma and Konvikt are troubled to witness their enemies penetrate the lands they had claimed as their own. But cracks are starting to show in their tenuous alliance. Morgaine is determined to fight tooth and nail, while Enigma advocates finding a different approach. But as their confrontation with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman draws near, the find themselves facing an entirely different set of foes.
