Castle Branek as fallen, but Morgan Le Fay and her allies have already abandoned it. As the Trinity attemp to trace her whereabouts, the Justice League and Justice Society busy themselves with the same task. This puzzles the three dieties who find it odd that these humans aren't content to leave this task to their gods. In the ruin of Castle Branek, workers find the articles stolen from the Trinity, their friends and enemies... the items that allowed Le Fay's magic to attune to them. As they ponder these items, Lois Lane attempts again to remind them of just who they are.
