Description
What If The Punisher's Family Had Not Been Killed?
In an alternate universe, the Watcher spins a yarn of the fate of Frank Castle, a marine, whose family was not gunned down before his eyes. Seeking meaningful employment, Frank applies to and is accepted by the New York Police. But he finds that police work is not what he expected it to be. Catching criminals is trivial, compared to the task of trying to see justice done in the courts. And he learns, to his surprise, that even his fellow police officers take bribes to ignore criminal activities. Determined to do the right thing, Frank goes to the Captain in his precinct, never knowing that even this man, a fellow marine Frank knew in the war, is also reporting to the Kingpin. When Frank has amassed enough evidence, a hit is placed on Frank, and his family. Seeing the death of his family, and understanding why it happened, Frank takes the law into his own hands. Donning a black costume, with a white skull emblazoned on the front, the Punisher is born.
