Messiah Complex - Chapter Nine
In the future, Jamie Madrox and Layla Miller have been captured and incarcerated, and the wardens are not gentle by any means. Madrox is even tattooed with the "M" tattoo over his right eye to mark him as a mutant. In the present, Cyclops' team catches up with Wolverine's team, but not soon enough to catch Cable or save Caliban. Prodigy eventually gets Cerebra running again, and uses it to direct the team after Cable, who is on the way to see Forge. Cable arrives, announcing his arrival quite loudly, assuring Forge he's not coming to attack, but to get a time machine. He finds Forge lying on the ground on a pool of blood, and is attacked from behind by Bishop. The issue ends with Bishop aiming his gun at the baby.
