Description
Legends - Chapter 14 / The End of the Justice League of America, Part 3: Flesh!
Ivo's android, found by J'onn J'onzz, attacks the Manhunter but is no match for the Martian. Vixen and Steel argue about whether they have a right to search for Ivo during the Presidential order for superheroes not to be abroad (see Legends mini-series) and Steel eventually decides to disobey the order and look for Ivo. Professor Ivo sits through another psychiatric session with another of his androids while an unidentified man sits murmuring the same words in a padded cell. Steel is stopped by police who are enforcing the Presidential order but Steel recognises one of them as an Ivo android. J'onn says goodbye to Gypsy, leaving her with her family as Vixen leaves her home to hunt Ivo. Steel attacks the android policeman but it overpowers him, stripping him of his synthetic flesh and revealing the machinery beneath. Steel manages to destroy the android but suffers huge amounts of damage before being found by J'onn and returned to his grandfather, Commander Steel. Due to the extent of his injuries, Commander Steel switches off the life support and Steel dies.
