Tempest struggles to keep the portal to Arctor, home of Breegan and Garvan ("Garth Donovan") open, while the Titans prepare an expedition. Finally Breegan grows impatient and goes through ahead - and is captured by someone there, restrained, and injected with some kind of drug by a henchman called a Hypoman. The leader sends more of these people back through the portal, where they attack Tempest and Troia. The Titans make it through and Jesse Quick manages to subdue the Hypomen, but not before one of them injects Tempest! Now the portal has collapsed, stranding the Titans on Arctor!
