The Guardians of the Galaxy are fractured. Rocket Raccoon leads a group in combat against the Badoon, while Warlock and Gamora run their own agenda. Now working alone, Star-Lord tries to warn the Kree about the Skrull invasion, only to learn that Kree have already taken extreme steps to defend themselves against the threat. He finds himself sent to the Negative Zone, where he learns that Blastaar is now an even greater threat than he used to be.
