The Unknown Soldier of Victory
At the 100th meeting of the Justice League, the heroes are brought to Earth-Two by Dr Fate who, along with the Justice Socity, needs the Leaguer's assistance.The Earth is literally held in the grip of a giant hand and, in an attempt to find answers, Dr Fate only glimpses the grave of an unknown Soldier of Victory. Fate, together with Zatanna and the Thunderbolt summon Oracle who tells them of the Nebula Man and the Seven Soldiers of Victory that fought against him. The hand that holds the world is connected to the Nebula Man and thus the Soldiers are the best bet of defeating it again. However, they are no longer in the present. Oracle sends the members of the League and Society into different time periods to find them.The Crimson Avenger is found as king of the ancient Aztecs; after battling with his would-be rescuers his memory is restored and they return to the present.
