Jordan fights the Parallax-possesed Kyle Rayner on Qward before being attacked by the remainder of the Sinestro Corps led by Amon Sur. As he battles against the odds, the Lost Lanterns - those whom Jordan had left stranded in space when he was possessed by Parallax - arrive only partly to rescue him.Somewhere in space, Superboy-Prime looks down at Earth.On the new Warworld, the Cyborg Superman, now grandmaster of the Manhunter Androids, contacts the Anti-Monitor who promises, once his mission is completed, to kill Cyborg.As the Lanterns fight, they tell Jordan they are there to rescue Ion, unaware that the Ion presence has been separated from Rayner who then attacks them, killing Jack T Chance. Detecting the whereabouts of Ion, the Lanterns break through the surface into a network of tunnels below. There they split up, Jordan and two of the Lanterns going to find Guy Gardner and John Stewart, the others to find Ion. When Jordan and the others find the two captive Lanterns, they are confronted by Lyssa Drak of the Sinestro Corps.
