As the League decide what to do with the infant creature that attacked them, J'onn J'onnz - as Detective John Jones - pursues a case where a woman has been killed. On the distant planet of Kalanor, the escapee from the prison planet Takron-Galtos is met by his followers. Zatanna attempts to find her friend, Sheri, while Vibe has trouble trying to find somewhere to live, and Steel is fired from his acting job. Steel, Vibe and J'onn J'onnz return to the headquarters and are confronted by the infant creature which appears to have aged Vixen dramatically.
