The trial of Cheshire begins. Chanda and Argent take Lian for a walk, and there run afoul of the Hangmen, a team of assassins! The Titans manage to defeat them, with some effort, and learn from Lian that they "want Mommy to be quiet". Evidently, someone fears what Cheshire might say on the witness stand. What will this person do with the Hangmen out of commission? Later, Chanda confronts other Quraci. She is willing to help them gain revenge but never wanted to involve Lian. They say they did not hire the hangmen, having chosen to pay for experience: they have hired Deathstroke, the Terminator!
