While Hercules wants simply to escape to Vermont, where some of his family could shelter them, Amadeus is determined to use Hercules to take S.H.I.E.L.D. down. Athena advises Hercules to watch the boy... that he is at a critical juncture, where he could use his intelligence for good... or for evil.
