Ares learns from Heimdall that Osborn has misused the God of War in planning this assault, and that the Asgardians posed no threat. Enraged, he sets out to take the Iron Patriot's head for this betrayal. However Osborn is guarded by a power far greater than that of Ares. The Sentry is wholly under his sway. But there are more forces eager to see Osborn defeated. Steve Rogers has gathered a team of heroes comprised of Avengers, Young Avengers and even Nick Fury's Secret Warriors. And using a S.H.I.E.L.D. transport Fury never bothered to return, their team will soon be on the ground.
