Iron Man brings the Controller to Stark International, imprisoning him in a vat of plastic until a more appropriate cell can be found. What Iron Man doesn't know is that the Controller's lackey is attaching 19 of the 20 new slave disks to new slaves, providing the Controller with enough power to break free. Iron Man fights him again, taking the fight to Ryker's Island, where one of the Blood Brothers has escaped. Once at the prison, Iron Man quickly attaches the last slave disk to the Blood Brother, knowing that the symbiotic link to the other brother will short out the Controller's exoskeleton. Once the Controller is down, Iron Man knocks out the Blood Brother, as well. The Controller's lackey manages to get the Controller out in all of the confusion, but the slave disks are ruined, leaving him powerless.
