Adeline is dying and Cyborg is conflicted. Savage wants that immortal blood, which will make him wealthy, but he needs Cyborg to harvest it. Damien Darkh reveals the purpose of constructing this floating base: from it, the H.I.V.E. has created natural disasters below, to lure superheroes. Adeline wanted to destroy super powered beings, and this is the plan: to drop a powerful nuclear explosive on them from the island while they respond to natural disasters below it! Finally, Starfire takes matters into her own hands, using her powers to finish off the suffering and dying Adeline. Cyborg manages to contain the explosion with his Omegadrome body. Arsenal must decide whether to save Cheshire or stick with the team that needs him. Tartarus manages a teleport escape but Savage's plan is in ruins. He does manage to murder Damien Darkh as he leaves... or, does he? It seems Darkh benefited from Adeline's immortal blood. The Titans leave, and in the darkness a grieving Slade Wilson sifts Adeline's ashes though his fingers.
